HINDI DIWAS (14th September 2011)
Hindi was declared official language unanimously by the Constitutional Assembly on 14th September, 1949. Since then, every year, 14th September is celebrated as Hindi Day in all Central Government Offices situated in India and abroad.
Hindi Diwas was celebrated on 14th Sep, 2011 at BVM GLOBAL @ NANDI WOODS. The programme started with the prayer. Nitin from class- V gave a speech about Hindi Diwas. Samyukta from class IV recited a Hindi poem followed by a group song by students of class-III and IV in Hindi. Our little angels from class I presented a rhyme in Hindi with beautiful expressions and actions. All the students actively participated in answering riddles in Hindi posed by Parth from class-V and Pranav from Class II. Aditi of class IV read NEWS headlines in Hindi. Our Principal, Mrs. Jayanthi addressed the students and appreciated their efforts to make the day successful. Our Hindi teacher, Mrs. Ruchi shared few words about ‘importance of Hindi language’ and explained the origin of Hindi Diwas to the students.
